David Wood Soccer Academy is a soccer academy serving the West Michigan area. We provide players the opportunity to participate and to excel in both technical and tactical aspects of the game. Importantly, it is done in a fun and competitive environment to breed success, therefore bringing all players to a higher standard of soccer ability.

Grand Valley University Summer Camps

The GVSU women’s soccer team recorded an overall 20-2-3 2012 NCAA DII season. The Lakers fell to the Tritons of UC San Diego 2-1 in the semi-final game. This was GVSU’s 6th FINAL FOUR appearance in the past 7 seasons. GVSU graduated their most decorated senior class and a class that was UNBEATEN on at HOME field in their playing careers. Three players were recognized as both NSCAA Scholar and All-Americans; Ashley Botts, Chelsea Parise and Alyssa Mira. Senior Ashley Botts also won the Scholar Athlete of the Year award. This is first time in the history of NCAA that a DII player has won this award.
